Designers from across the country will participate in a juried competition for a freestanding "street seat" pavilion to be created and installed during the 2013 Portland Design Festival. This temporary installation will draw on design guidelines of the City of Portland’s Street Seats program, by reclaiming a parking space to create an innovative outdoor public sphere.
